TBCW 2015: Day 1
The night of Telenor Bridal Couture Week was the night that brought Lahore to life in terms of zest, zeal, enthusiasm and excitement of the bridal couture displays of our favorite designers of Pakistan. A plenty of oomph and glamour was expected to be flaunted at the 15th Edition of Telenor Bridal Couture Week 2015. There were a number of celebrity show stopper at the day one of the bridal couture week that adds glamour and feel to the telenor bridal couture week. Here at Paper Pk we are presenting Day 1 of the Telenor Bridal Couture Week and we are bringing the collections of the designers that were displayed at this day.
The bridal collection of Zarmish Dar was inspired from the French culture and French word Lumiere that means light. The collection was basically composed of soft pastels, organza in terms of fabric and tulles. The combination of pearls and beads gave the dresses an ethnic and ethereal look.
The collection of Nickie and Nina was inspired from the nature and the wild life and the entire collection was called as Neh Shikar. The cuts are inspired from the traditional Rajput era and a modern spin was given to the dresses. The fabric used is mainly silk, jamawar, organza and velvet that looks beautiful and ethnic with the embellishments.
Honey Waqar brings her bridal collection with the name of Chand Begum that celebrated the beauty and poise of a different kind of the women. This is a woman that is empowered, intellectual and imaginative as well. The cutwork is the major highlight of Honey Waqar dresses
Aisha Imran collection was the collection that paid a tribute to the beautiful and the traditional city of Lahore. The collection is known as the Heritage collection. The collection includes cocktail dresses, lehengas, gararas including the short hemlines of the dresses. There is traditional work of gota, dabka and pearl work on the fabric of velvet, silk and raw silk.
